Don't believe me? Examine Jesus' life who greatly believed in His Father God. Never once did this man conform to any standards of the world. And never once did he sin in not conforming; never once did He sin in rebelling.
Jesus told government officials and prostitutes they were on the same level, and that he loved them JUST THE SAME. He healed people without medicine. He had a street team that would put ANY ministry to shame. Never once did He own a home or a car, yet He changed THOUSANDS of lives with two feet. He got people's attention without special programs, banquets, or a bullhorn. He simplified what man tried to complicate. He fed thousands without asking for donations or raising money. He embraced the prostitute and the adulterous without wicked motives or pride. He ministered to people in boats, on mountains, on the street and beyond.
The Bible tells us that we are made in His image and that, as believers, we have been given the same power and authority Christ had when he was raised from the dead. If we truly have died to self and stand on the Word of God, confessing that we are crucified with Christ and no longer live but the Christ in us lives...how come we as believers are not walking in the same anointing as Jesus? How come we are blending in like chameleons and not rebelling against the cultural norms like Christians? The real question is this: how come we are conforming to the patterns of this world? Conformist are not rebels.
REal BELiverS are REBELS.
