To my real, chosen and anointed women of God…
God is not going to give you a king until He’s refined and taught you how to be a queen.
These words came from a revelation received on last Wednesday night at Bible Study. I needed this and all that God revealed through pastor, who also said, “Many of you are going to be tested on the Word on tonight this week.” I’ve learned to never doubt or question the prophet, and what do you know? I was tested and am being tested in order to be refined and taught how to be a queen. Awesome.
To the women of God, have you ever encountered those unwanted worldly looks or comments? It’s probably caught you off guard a few times because you’re thinking, where in the world did that come from? Was I even looking at him?? Basically, a curve ball. A few years ago, when God and I really began to get intimate, this happened more than I desired, especially considering I completely let go of the “dating”/intimate-male-relationship scene (you’ve been there; don’t lie). I asked God, “Why is this an issue? We both know I’m not EVEN tryin’ to go there.” God said the darnest thing- “It’s not you they’re attracted to; it’s your spirit. It’s the Me in you they are attracted to.” Wow. I kinda felt like the disciples who thought the people were coming after THEM while they were yet desiring the Christ and the manifestation of God’s glory IN them. Once I understood it wasn’t about Esther, my perspective changed, as should yours.
Yes, men and women are automatically attracted to each other based on personal values and interests. However, it’s EACH OTHER, meaning it goes both ways. When a woman’s heart is so hidden in Christ, it becomes something of a different issue because then she no longer lives but the Christ in her lives, thus Him being the attraction the man sees and desires. Just as men and women are naturally attracted to each other, so are they naturally desiring of something/someone to fill their void. The word of God says we were made to see and hear God and to glorify Him. HE is the one who made us in HIS image and seeks to have an intimate relationship with us, therefore creating in every man and women a thirst and hunger for Him. However, as spirit beings trapped in this “earthly jail” (Wisdom), we have tried to fill this natural void with things and people, never feeling completely satisfied. Why? Because that void was never meant to be filled or satisfied with the world; only God’s spiritual frame fits that incomplete picture.
So, the next time someone approaches you with worldly comments or looks, don’t respond with a disgusted look on your face or even say “thank you”; it’s not about you, boo! Rather, humble your prideful flesh and respond with a “praise God” because you realize they see the Christ in you. You never know what may happen next; the Holy Spirit may very well lead you to minister to someone who may become your brother in Christ with a true and new perspective.
So yes... I am attractive. And that's ONLY because God, through the love of Jesus Christ, is my attraction. Christ's Peace.
